Giles Bancroft
Early in his career Giles Bancroft, founder of TCCS, advised a recent British Prime Minister on his first campaign to become Mayor of London. The success of this campaign was structured around the engagement and motivation of capital’s outlying communities in the suburbs.
He went onto head the Conservative Party’s general election candidates’ press operation before becoming a Special Adviser to the Transport Secretary.
Following the 2015 general election he was recruited to run a bespoke strategic communications unit focused on undermining terrorism, the major threat to society at that time.
The unit designed and delivered a number of strategic communications campaigns targeted at groups and individuals most susceptible to extremist radicalising narratives.
During this time he set up a new training service that worked with community groups to help them improve the impact and reach of their own communications.
