Nathalie Wlodarczyk

Over the past 20 years Nathalie has built a career in risk intelligence, strategic risk, geopolitics and solutions design. After a PhD on the use of magic in contemporary African conflict with the Kings College War Studies department, she worked at start-up political risk forecasting firm Exclusive Analysis, at global information services provider IHS, and then at IHS Markit, where she led the Risk Intelligence Solutions business. Nathalie has worked with senior leaders across private and public sector to transform intelligence functions and the integration of geopolitical intelligence in strategic decision making.

As a recognized subject matter expert in geopolitical risk and intelligence methodology Nathalie combines proven experience of connecting the two with strong commercial acumen. She brings to TCCS experience of working with communities in Africa to map influencers and agendas, of advising executive teams in global businesses to navigate external risks, and of building a business from bare bones to a commercially thriving provider.

Nathalie is particularly interested in the opportunities generated by the energy transition, which is encouraging organisations to elevate their analysis of external risk environments and re-think the role of geopolitical insight in future-proofing their business. Engaging critical stakeholders is a core part of managing this risk and she believes TCCS has a new and important service to offer operators around the globe as they consider how to improve their relationships with the communities in which they operate.
