Building a Communications Strategy

Published

Working in an environment where your local communities matter means you need an active communications programme that reaches key target audiences and has an impact in those communities. Yesterday TCCS Founder, Giles Bancroft, ran the first of three communication capacity building sessions in partnership with the Shared Endeavour Fund. These are designed to help local organisations improve the reach and impact their communications have in local society.

Understanding how to implement a proactive communications strategy will make a real difference, enhancing the positive impact of the projects and helping organisations achieve their objectives. A core concept to the training is working with the participants to build a strategy that is practical and straight forward for them to implement.

The Shared Endeavour Fund has been set up to empower communities to tackle violent extremism and a rise in hate crime offences in London. It is backed by Mayor’s Office for Policing And Crime (MOPAC) and Google with ISD (Institute for Strategic Dialogue)
